LOW LIGHT UV WINDOW TINTING AND SEA TURTLES
We were contacted by the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle conservation Center with concerns of their building of having too much sunlight and glare. This situation was making it too hot in their recently renovated building.
The solution was a window film that would stop the infrared rays from entering the building which made it much cooler and controlled the glare issues.
We also discussed sea turtles and low light levels for homes on Navarre Beach. These little creatures have nested in our very own paradise for millions of years. Unfortunately, lights from our beach homes confuse the turtle hatchlings.
Instead of heading into the Gulf of Mexico, they move towards the lights from our homes. To protect the hatchlings from being misdirected to walking paths, roadways, and opportunistic predators, it is necessary to reduce the amount of light coming from your home by 35%.
Do your part and ask for a free evaluation of your home or condo.
